As an HR Generalist, Rotational within the HR Rotational Program, you will gain valuable HR experience in varying business units and/or HR Centers of Excellence. Your opportunities for furthering your HR expertise could include assignments within manufacturing, retail, hospitality, or one of our various Centers of Excellence including Compensation, Organizational Effectiveness, or Labor Relations to name a few. HR positions at Kohler Co. support the business unit and lead business unit managers in the activity of linking HR to the success and strength of the organization. Key accountabilities in this role include developing and executing recruitment, talent management, engagement, organizational development and learning strategies. The goal is to work as a full business partner within each role, linking Kohler Human Resources practices to the goals and objectives of the organization.


Skills/Requirements



  • Bachelor’s Degree Required, Master’s Degree and/or PHR certification preferred.
  • HR professional with 2+ years HR experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, including MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Must be willing to travel and/or relocate as needed.
  • Being open to frequent change and willingness to learn.

The preferred candidate is a self-starter who achieves results with demonstrated initiative and ability to develop rapport with others. Candidate will balance the ability to be a strategic thinker, partnering to solve business issues, with the operational expectations of delivering foundational HR tactics. While good strategic thinking is essential, the ability to drive execution and demonstrate results, is the full measure of success.
