All MDT Interns must be enrolled in a College, University, or Tech School to be considered.You are required toattach your unofficial transcripts, cover letter, and resume to be considered for this position.
One intern will be hired from this posting and will work at the Yellowstone Airport.
The work schedule will be 40 hours a week during the summer. Interns do not receive benefits such as paid holidays, medical coverage, earned vacation, or sick leave.
50% Airport Operations and Maintenance
50% Airport Administrative
Intern will be exposed to:
Assist the Airport Manager with various Administrative Tasks
14 CFR Part 139 Requirements- Certification of Airports
Ground Vehicle Pedestrian Training
Assist Chief of Operations with various maintenance tasks
Airfield and facilities maintenance
49 CFR Part 1542– Airport Security
Sections that intern will be rotating through:
Knowledge and skills required for this job will come from college level course work in Aviation Management, Aeronautical Science, or similar aviation concentration.

Must be currently enrolled in College, University or Tech School; recent grads (no more than 6 months past graduation) can apply but note that preference will be given to applicants that are currently enrolled. Need to at least be entering Junior year or have completed at least 60 credit hours. If applicant is enrolled in a Tech School (2 year program) the credit minimum is 30 credit hours.
Acceptable majors are: Aviation Management, Aeronautical Science, or similar aviation concentration.
