Working Environment/Physical Demands
Regular interactions with library visitors, work colleagues and community members
Interruptions will occur frequently and may include challenging situations or conversations

Pushing/pulling 100 pound carts

Education & Experience
Masters of Library or Information Science or equivalent.
Prefer three to five years as a successful librarian serving children, teens, and adults
Prefer two to three years of experience working with staff, volunteers and library customers who have diverse backgrounds and views.
Basic principles of budget preparation and control.
Software applications including word processing, spreadsheets, email, Internet, chat, presentation software, and data management.
Effective training and classroom techniques for adults, teens and children.
