QA Job Description
The Quality Assurance Manager (QA Mgr) is responsible to maintain a high level of quality Quality Assurance and company standards within their assigned region. The QA Mgr reports directly to the Regional Branch Director, with close guidance and indirect supervision of Corporate QA/PI Supervisor. As a part of the QA Mgr's role they will meet with new clients to complete admission paperwork and develop a plan of care specific to that client. During initial planning visit the QA Mgr will be expected to perform a home safety check highlighting items of concern that may need to be addressed. QA Mgrs will also meet the caregiver assigned to the clients case at the client's home on the first day of service, to introduce the caregiver and provide the caregiver with the needed information to successfully assist the client.
QA Mgrs will keep an up to date calendar scheduling out their on site quality assurance surveys with their clients to ensure they are visiting each client at minimum 1 time quarterly for all managed care clients and 1 time monthly for all critical and private pay clients. The onsite quality assurance survey will be submitted to the office and entered into the client's file by the QA Mgr within 24 hours of completion. QA Mgr will complete a monthly phone survey/check with each client in their region. QA Mgr will provide documentation of phone survey and ensure survey is in client's file. QA manager should also communicate with caregivers and scheduling managers to determine changes in clients health and abilities and schedule planning meetings with the team and family in the event it is determined that there may be a change in care needed.
The perfect candidate will display calm and confidence in a fast paced environment and will be able to communicate well with their team members. This person will take a proactive approach to monitoring what our team member's needs are and be sure they are recruiting in the areas of most need and become the preferred recruiter in their area.
All qualified Recruiter personnel will also be expected to perform basic Administrative Assistant type tasks such as prepare emails, documents and spread sheets for new hire tracking, bonuses and caregiver training.
1 year experience working in non-medical home care in TN preferred.
High school diplomas required.
Knowledge of home care and using Clearcare, Paycom, Healthstar and San Data preferred.
