As an Environmental Services / Housekeeping Training Coordinator you need to know how to:
·Coordinate and prepare training evolution for associates around dismissals room cleaning, patient room cleaning and terminal cleaning
·Coordinate and prepare training evolutions for associates around the use of UV Light Technology in disinfecting patient rooms
·Coordinate the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures and standard of work
·Ensure quality standards are met by inspecting and auditing completed work
·Coordinate orientation and ongoing training for departmental associates
·Coordinate regularly scheduled in-services for departmental associates
·Maintain records of orientation and in-service training programs
·Coordinate and maintain current inventory of supplies and equipment
·Coordinate and maintain associate schedules and scheduling as needed by the facility
·Coordinate information management, performance improvement and infection prevention and control programs
·Represent and participate in committees and task forces as assigned by your Supervisor
·Possess a working knowledge of carrying and utilizing the Environmental Service Pager
·Coordinate and train associates on training devices

·High School diploma or equivalent, required
·Minimum of 2 years’ experience in healthcare environmental service / housekeeping, required
·Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team, required
·Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, required
·Ability to successfully function in a fast paced, service oriented environment, required
·Experience in understanding and usage of computers, preferred
