A nursing leadership opportunity is presently available for a House Services RN Manager with a community hospital system in New Hampshire. Within close proximity to several State Parks and National forests, the area features the tranquil beauty of mother nature and the surrounding community includes a historic, small-town shopping district.
The House Services RN Manager will join a community hospital system which features a main hospital campus that has offered a full scope of healthcare services to New Hampshire and Vermont communities for nearly 100 years. The campus includes a 24/7 Emergency Department, Mental Health Center, and a Surgical Unit that performs general and orthopedic procedures. In addition to the main campus the health system includes multiple Outpatient Medical Practices and Urgent Care Centers.
As an operational nurse leader, the House Services RN Manager will lead in the absence of departmental decision makers and ensure that appropriate staffing levels are maintained in designated areas at all times. The House Services RN Manager will allocate nursing assignment to ensure adequate coverage of active department caseload, while monitoring budgetary constraints and census while considering RN staff schedule requests including vacation, maternity leave and FMLA.
The House Services RN Manager will also monitor staff PTO accrual, maintain employee attendance records, review documentations and work with leadership in advance of staff vacancies to ensure proper coverage. The House Services RN Manager will maintain a working knowledge of JCAHO standards and federal and state regulations.
