Husky Injection Molding Systems is hiring an experienced CNC machine operator in our Milton, Vermont plant (just north of Burlington)!

Qualified candidates have experience with set up and operation of advanced technology machinery capable of turning h13 tool steel properties with tight tolerances. Should be able to navigate through programming of the machine.
Perform the machine setup and first piece validation for any “one off” prototype or custom job that is new to the area.  When custom jobs are not needed, set up and operate manual and Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) equipment (such as the Hembrug) within close tolerances for production needs. Offer technical knowledge and feedback in process planning for new parts by working with scheduling and engineering.

  • Perform first piece quality checks ensuring program and machine setups are done correctly 
  • Maintain tooling in peak operating condition
  • Read and work from complex part, assembly and blueprint drawings
  • Complete tasks on schedule and according to established quality standards
  • Inspect and record specific machining dimensions utilizing various measuring tools and equipment


  • Previous CNC machining experience in a machine shop environment 
  • Experience using the Hembrug machine or similar 
  • Experience turning h13 metal components with tight tolerances 
  • Excellent mechanical abilities and math skills required
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently maintain high productivity level required  
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds
  • Blue print reading and GD&T experience  
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
