JOB TITLE: Physicain


Position Summary: The town of Sand Point was established in the year 1898 by a fish processor that was from San Francisco. Sand Point has a strong root in the Russian Orthodox religion, due to the settlers coming through. Sand Point is an island that is treeless except for one tree that is still standing from being planted by a Russian that arrived many years ago. Sand Point also has several big sand beaches to walk along beach combing. The Sand Point Medical Clinic offers service like: Behavioral Health, Dental, Medical and Wellness. Currently EAT is looking for a Physician


The Physician will provide preventative, primary and emergency care and work as a team with other health care providers, Midlevel, CHA/P and first response teams to ensure continuity and quality community health care for the assigned rural site.




Qualification Requirements:


Graduate of accredited medical or osteopathic school with MD, DO or equivalent degree. Successful completion of ACGME accredited Family Practice Residency. Board certified in Family Practice, Pediatrics or Internal Medicine. Experience working with Tribal Health Organizations, Veterans Administration, or Indian Health Services is preferred. Community health center experience is preferred. Experience working with migrant populations is preferred.




Up to $10,000 in relocation expenses paid/reimbursed or $5,000 relocation with a $5,000 sign on bonus for a 3 year commitment, your benefits would include: Health Dental, Vision, and Drug covered at 97% for employee and 75% for eligible spouse and dependents.
