Position Details

FT Oppurtunity Available with Benefits! 

Position Summary

Provides assistance to gaming guests, in accordance with Company’s GuestPath Universal Service Standards, applicable Operational Standards and New York State Lottery regulations.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Acknowledges and greets guests
  • Monitors functioning of VGM machines; changes/fixes ticket paper in the VGM machines
  • Patrols assigned areas to ensure player/guest satisfaction and that machines are functioning correctly.
  • Processes jackpots in accordance with New York State Lottery and Company procedures
  • Makes change for guests in a prompt manner
  • Stocks holding area with voucher paper
  • Answers guest questions about game information; responds to and resolves guests' complaints.
  • Performs minor repairs to VGM machines, resolving problems such as bill/voucher jams, machine tilts; contacts technician for assistance as needed
  • Records in the book every time the VGM is openned
  • Follows all departmental and New York State Lottery policies and procedures

 

Non-essential Functions:

  • Ensures all  work areas are neat, clean and free of cups

 

 

Education & Experience:

  • No experience required; previous customer service experience preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to be licensed by New York State Lottery

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent guest service skills; ability to adhere to Company’s GuestPath Universal Service Standards
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations and accurately handle large sums of money
  • Basic slot knowledge preferred

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent standing walking for entire length of shift
  • Manual dexterity sufficient for handling machine functioning repairs
  • Ability to push and pull chairs in and out that are in front of machines
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds

 

Environmental Working Conditions:

  • Indoor casino/gaming environment – noise level be moderate to high during busy times
