Client Relations Analyst


Job Summary: This position is a liaison between the client and the company which mines, analyzes, interprets and communicates data from the company’s databases and systems to the client. This position will support the transaction managers with the client and work with the collateral analysts. The candidate must be able to manage existing weekly and monthly report sets as well as create new or adapted reports as requested. This position will also will work closely with the Client Relations Coordinator in supporting client and seller requests including loan level research.

Principal Duties:

1. Provide weekly, monthly and ad hoc reporting to the client from existing company databases as well as department maintained data.

2. Create data files from queries upon request from the client including actual and schedule balances.

3. Analyze and validate data including prepayment, ARM data, loan status, amortization, etc.

4. Participate in client conference calls to explain reports and data presented as well as listen to client requests for adapted or additional reports to meet the client needs then deliver within expected timeframe.

5. Work with internal business units to manage client requests with an understanding of the results and communication to the client.

6. Work with coordinator to facilitate seller and client requests.

7. All other duties as assigned.

Job Specifications:

1. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Access and Excel required, beginning level knowledge of SQL helpful.

2. Strong Customer Service skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills

3. Detail oriented with strong mathematical aptitude and ability to work with strict deadlines.

4. Ability to understand and communicate new processes, ability to adapt to change and respond effectively in a fast paced environment.

5. Ability to understand Mortgage Servicing Practices and terminology preferred.

6. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
