Orion Talent, the nation’s largest military recruiting firm, is currently recruiting transitioning or former military professionals for Production Supervisor positions with a diversified manufacturer and supplier of premium building products and related technologies for the commercial and residential construction markets. Our client has been a recognized leader in the roofing industry for nearly half a century, offering high-performance single-ply roofing solutions that include EPDM, TPO, PVC and roof garden systems.
As a Production Supervisor, you will have the responsibility of overseeing the manufacturing line and assisting with improvement projects while reducing operating cost. The primary role of the position is to produce a product safely that meets production specification and customer expectations, strong leadership skills, and the application of Lean Manufacturing principles. This job has full supervisory responsibilities. You must be able to effectively assign duties, coach and develop employees’ abilities, train, evaluate and discipline subordinate employees in a fair, consistent and non-confrontational manner. Location: Smithfield, PA
Salary: $65,000-$70,000+ End of year salary. Base salary is $60,000 and incumbents will receive a company performance-based bonus that is paid out in February of the following year and averages between 10%-17%+
Supervisory: Yes, 12 Production Personnel
Shift: Incumbent will work a Monday–Friday shift that rotates with their peers every quarter. Shift times below:
